Current Food Prices in Jambi Province: Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (20/9/2024) at 12.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, shallots, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, curly red chilies, dry soybean (import), and Indian mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp440 (0.98%) to Rp45,440 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp390 (1.59%) to Rp24,180 per kg.
