The price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province has decreased by 8.59% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp37,250. This price is up Rp250 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp40,750.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in East Kalimantan over the past three months has increased by 4.93% from a previous record of Rp35,500.

The record high for the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2020 with an increase of 21.89%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in December 2021 with a decrease of -20.83%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Kalimantan show 12 commodities decreased and four others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Green Chili, Rice, Grade I Low Quality Rice, Red Chili, Chicken Eggs, Chili, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Red Onion, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Red Chili, Large Red Chili, and Curly Red Chili.
