Latest Indonesian Food Prices: What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (28/5/2024) at 13:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, pure beef, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, chicken meat, milkfish, dry soybeans (import), and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp340 (1.06%) to Rp32,310 per kg. Milkfish, on the other hand, saw the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp230 (0.69%) to Rp33,310 per kg.
