Current Food Prices in Banten Region: Prices of Oil, Rice, and Onions Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (26/7/2024) at 10:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SPHP rice, premium rice, red chilies, farmer-level corn, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, curly red chilies, broiler chicken, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp490 (6.71%) to Rp7,790 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices saw the sharpest decline, dropping Rp3,530 (10.93%) to Rp28,770 per kg.
