Jakarta, DKI Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Monday, April 15, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (15/4/2024) at 11.06 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, shallots, dry soybean (import), red onion, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, fine iodized salt, premium rice, pure beef, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions saw the highest price increase of Rp1,910 (3.1%) to Rp63,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp11,360 (18.72%) to Rp49,320 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp38,620 per kg (down 5.06%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,340 per kg (down 1.14%)
8. Indian Mackerel: Rp35,970 per kg (up 0.47%)
9. Broiler Chicken: Rp35,320 per kg (down 12.49%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,960 per kg (down 0.55%)
