Current Food Prices in Lampung: Rice and Oil Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (8/5/2024) at 15:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, farmer-level corn, red chilies, milkfish, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp320 (1.14%) to Rp28,390 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp580 (10.56%) to Rp4,910 per kg.
