Food Prices Wednesday (6/8) in Aceh: Red Chili, Oil, and Rice Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (August 6, 2025) at 12:34 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 12 saw an increase and 6 saw a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices include dried soybean seeds (imported), curly red chili, shallots, mackerel, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili saw the highest jump of Rp732 (1.87%) to Rp39,855 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp1,000 (2.44%) to Rp40,000 per kg.
