310 residents of Central Kalimantan with doctoral degrees.

Based on data from the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, there were 310 residents of Central Kalimantan (Kalteng) with an education level up to S3 (Doctoral degree) in June 2021. This number represents only 0.01% of the total population of 2.64 million.

There were also 6,260 (0.24%) Kalteng residents who achieved a Master's degree (S2) and 107,080 (4.06%) with a Bachelor's degree (S1).

Furthermore, 44,930 (1.7%) of the residents in the province with Palangkaraya as its capital city had a D1/D2/D3 (Diploma) education. In total, there were 158,580 Kalteng residents who were graduates of higher education.

Meanwhile, 830,430 Kalteng residents (31.46%) had completed upper secondary education. This includes 444,840 (16.85%) who completed upper secondary education (SLTA) and 385,580 (14.61%) who completed lower secondary education (SLTP).

A total of 637,340 (24.14%) Kalteng residents had completed primary school (SD), and 376,410 (14.26%) had not completed primary school. Additionally, 637,230 (24.14%) residents had never attended school.

Based on gender, 1.36 million (51.69%) of Kalteng's population were male, and 1.28 million (48.31%) were female.
