Top 10 Countries with the Most Billionaires in the World, August 2024

Forbes released a list of the world's 2,733 richest people spread across 76 countries in August 2024.

The United States had the highest number of billionaires globally as of Friday, August 2, 2024, with a total of 806 billionaires.

In total, the richest individuals in the United States possess US$5.927 trillion (Rp96.364 trillion) in wealth, assuming an exchange rate of Rp16,256/US$ on August 2, 2024.

China followed in second place with 372 billionaires. The total wealth of Chinese billionaires amounted to US$1.243 trillion (Rp20.216 trillion). The wealth of individual Chinese billionaires ranged from US$0.97 billion to US$47.58 billion, equivalent to Rp15.72 trillion to Rp773.39 trillion.

Following China, India had 210 billionaires with a total wealth of US$1.062 trillion (Rp17.276 trillion).

Indonesia did not rank among the top 10 countries with the most billionaires. However, Indonesia was ranked 11th with 49 billionaires possessing a collective wealth of US$153.66 billion (Rp2.497 trillion).
