PT Hutama Karya (Persero) will soon impose tolls on the Tebing Tinggi-Indrapura-Lima Puluh toll road. Previously, this toll road section operated toll-free since November 10, 2023. This year's toll implementation is based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Number 251/KPTS/M/2024.
Hutama Karya's Corporate Secretary, Tjahjo Purnomo, stated that they have conducted socialization regarding the estimated toll rates through the company's social media channels, official releases, and outdoor media such as banners and billboards along the toll road.
"Hopefully, toll road users will be informed early on so they can prepare to ensure sufficient electronic money card balances, so that when the toll rates are implemented, there will be no queues caused by insufficient balances," said Tjahjo in his official statement on Friday (2/23/2024).
He mentioned that before determining the toll rates, Hutama Karya had conducted a feasibility test of the performance and quality based on Minimum Service Standards (SPM).
"The toll rate determination has considered the ability to pay (ATP) and willingness to pay (WTP) of the toll road and after operating toll-free for quite some time," said Tjahjo.
Based on the determination, the following is a list of toll rates for the Tebing Tinggi-Indrapura route and vice versa according to vehicle class:
* Class I: Rp31,000
* Class II: Rp46,000
* Class II: Rp46,000
* Class IV: Rp61,500
* Class V: Rp61,500
Then, the toll rates for the Indrapura-Lima Puluh route and vice versa are as follows:
* Class I: Rp20,500
* Class II: Rp30,500
* Class II: Rp30,500
* Class IV: Rp40,500
