11.5% of the Population in North Tapanuli Regency Falls into the Poor Category

The poverty rate in Tapanuli Tengah Regency as of November 30, 2023, was recorded at 11.5 percent. This figure is down 0.21 percent compared to the previous year, which was reported at 11.71 percent.

The poverty rate in Tapanuli Tengah Regency has shown a downward trend over the past 10 years, decreasing from 14.47 percent to 11.5 percent.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the total population of the regency in 2023 was 366,980.
