2016, Bangka Belitung Had the Lowest Inequality in Indonesia

Bangka Belitung (Babel) Province has the lowest level of inequality. In September 2016, the Central Bureau of Statistics recorded a Gini ratio of 0.288 for Bangka Belitung Province, the lowest among the 33 other provinces. This figure also indicates that inequality in Babel is low, and it is the only province with a Gini ratio below 0.3.
