What is Public Perception of Law Enforcement in Indonesia?

The Indonesian Political Indicator released a public perception survey regarding law enforcement in Indonesia. The results show that the majority of respondents (33.2%) consider the current state of Indonesian law enforcement to be "average" or "fair."

Meanwhile, 28% of the public stated that the condition of law enforcement in the country is good, and 23.4% assessed it as poor.

The survey also indicates that 36.2% of respondents are dissatisfied with the state of corruption eradication efforts undertaken by law enforcement agencies in Indonesia.

This survey was conducted from May 18-24, 2022, involving 1,213 respondents using a random digit dialing (RDD) method.

The margin of error in the survey is estimated to be approximately 2.9% at a 95% confidence level, assuming simple random sampling.
