Poverty Rate in Regencies/Cities of Aceh Province, March 2025

According to a report by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), there were 704.69 thousand residents in Aceh categorized as poor in March 2025.

The proportion of the poor population reached 12.33% of the total population in the province.

BPS defines poor residents as those whose average expenditure is below the poverty line.

In March 2025, the poverty line for Aceh Province was Rp676,247 per capita per month.

Based on region, the highest poverty rate in Aceh was in Aceh Singkil Regency, while the lowest was in Banda Aceh City.
