KontraS: 23 Still Missing Following Monday's (September 1st, 2025) Demonstration

Based on reports from the public to the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (KontraS), as of Monday, September 1, 2025, 23 people have been reported missing during demonstrations in various regions of Indonesia.

The following is a list of missing persons based on the location of the incident reported through KontraS' Missing Persons Complaint Post, as of Monday, September 1, 2025:

Central Jakarta: 15 people

“After the tracing and verification process, there are 20 missing persons who have not been found and 3 people have been found,” said KontraS in its press release on its Instagram account, Jakarta, Monday, September 1, 2025.

The missing persons who have been found are Joko Prasetyo, M. Didik Afrianto, and Nirmala Tasya.

In its statement, KontraS said that Joko is still being detained at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters and his condition is unknown; Didik was briefly detained at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters with injuries; and Nirmala is still being detained at the North Jakarta Police and her condition is unknown.
