Jakarta holds the largest share, accounting for 96.5% of the total cumulative reports throughout 2024.

Looking at the monthly trend in 2024, reports from Jakarta consistently exceeded 6,000. The highest number of reports was recorded in October 2024, reaching 17,402.

Jakarta's proportion is significantly higher compared to other provinces. In the Riau Islands, for example, only 1.2% of reports originated.

This is followed by North Sumatra at 0.5%; West Java at 0.4%; and Banten at 0.4%.

The remaining provinces accounted for a combined 1%.

PPATK also categorized the distribution by type or underlying crime. Gambling was the largest category, accounting for 42.6% of total LTKM in 2024.

Second was fraud, at 20.7%. Third, indications of other criminal offenses punishable by four years imprisonment, at 11.4%.

In total, Indonesia received 136,546 LTKM reports throughout 2024. This represents a 4.65% increase year-on-year (YoY) compared to the 130,472 reports in 2023.
