Two Million People Register for 2024 CPNS, These are the Most Popular Agencies

Registration for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) opened on August 20, 2024, and will close on September 6, 2024.

According to data from the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), as of 8 PM WIB on September 2, 2024, approximately 2 million people had registered.

However, of that number, only 737,178 people have submitted their documents or completed the registration process. 362,326 applicants have been verified as meeting the agency's requirements, while 73,705 applicants have been deemed ineligible.

As of four days before the closing of the 2024 CPNS registration, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) is the most popular central government agency, with 333,134 applicants. This ministry only opened 9,070 positions.

The following is a list of the top 10 central government agencies with the most CPNS applicants as of September 2, 2024:

1. Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham): 333,134 applicants
2. Ministry of Health: 60,573 applicants
3. Attorney General's Office: 56,638 applicants
4. Ministry of Communication and Informatics: 46,147 applicants
5. Ministry of Religious Affairs: 44,553 applicants
6. Ministry of Defense: 29,530 applicants
7. Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK): 23,655 applicants
8. Ministry of Finance: 21,397 applicants
9. Ministry of Transportation: 21,193 applicants
10. National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN): 19,890 applicants

On the other hand, the least popular central government agencies so far are the MPR Secretariat with 174 applicants, the Komnas HAM Secretariat with 189 applicants, and the Ministry of PAN-RB with 203 applicants.
