Hiyacar's report shows Jakarta ranks third as the world's most stressful city for driving, receiving a score of 6 out of 10.
Mumbai topped the list with a score of 7.4. This highly populated Indian city has approximately 12.47 million people within 603 square kilometers, resulting in an average of 20,694 people per square kilometer.
Paris ranked second with a score of 6.4, followed by Delhi (5.9) and then Jakarta. New York, Kuala Lumpur, and Nagoya scored 5.6, 5.3, and 5.1 respectively.
The Hiyacar report ranked 36 of the world's most populous cities based on their stress levels for drivers. It found that 9 out of 10 drivers reported experiencing stress while driving in these cities.
The ranking considered several factors, including cars per capita, total number of vehicles, traffic congestion severity, road quality, public transportation options, annual traffic accidents, and city density.
