Government Opens 3,445 Positions for 2024 State Schools, Here's the Detail

The Indonesian government opened registration for state schools from May 15th to June 13th, 2024, through the State Civil Apparatus Candidate Selection System (SSCASN) portal of the National Personnel Agency (BKN).

The government has prepared 3,445 positions under eight ministries/institutions that organize state schools this year.

"The 2024 state school selection is open to eight ministries/institutions that organize state schools, divided into 30 state schools," said the Acting Head of BKN, Haryomo Dwi Putranto, as reported by the Indonesian Cabinet Secretariat website on Monday (May 13th, 2024).

The details of the positions for each state school are as follows:

1. State Finance Polytechnic—State Accounting College (PKN—STAN): 722 positions
2. Indonesian Institute of Government (IPDN): 721 positions
3. State schools under the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub): 622 positions
4. State Intelligence College (STIN): 400 positions
5. Penitentiary Science Polytechnic (Poltekip) and Immigration Polytechnic (Poltekim): 400 positions
6. Statistics College (STIS): 355 positions
7. Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics College (STMKG): 120 positions
8. State Cyber and Cryptography Polytechnic (Poltek SSN): 105 positions

Haryomo explained that this year's state school selection aims to fulfill the need for civil servant candidates (CPNS) with specific competencies in the fields of state finance and asset management; statistics; cybersecurity and cryptography; and others.

Furthermore, he also urged applicants to be wary of fraudulent practices or brokers that often emerge during state school admissions.

"The selection process is conducted online, and the tests are carried out using CAT (Computer Assisted Test), which is ensured to be transparent and accountable," said Haryomo.
