This was followed by torture, forced dispersal, and sexual violence, each with 37 cases. There were also 33 cases of intimidation.

"Forced dispersal shows that civilians engaging in public expression or demonstrations often become 'targets' of violence by police officers," KontraS wrote.

Criminalization was also included in the list, with 21 cases. The remaining categories included prohibition (9 cases) and inhumane acts (3 cases).
