Pegangsaan Dua is the sub-district with the most Community Units (RW) in Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Province. According to Jakarta.go.id, Pegangsaan Dua sub-district has 25 RW, comprising 248 Neighborhood Units (RT).

DKI Jakarta has 267 sub-districts with a total of 2,722 RW and 30,501 RT. East Jakarta has the highest number of RW, reaching 703, while the Thousand Islands has the lowest, with only 24.

In November 2016, during his campaign, the then gubernatorial candidate for DKI Jakarta, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, pledged to provide Rp 1 billion per year to each RW in Jakarta, funded by the Regional Budget (APBD). With 2,722 RW in the capital city, this would require a total disbursement of Rp 2.7 trillion, or an average of Rp 89.24 million per RT per year. Therefore, Pegangsaan Dua sub-district would receive the highest RW funding, amounting to Rp 25 billion.
