Based on age group, the working-age population (15-65 years) reached 185.22 million, or about 68.7% of the total population. The non-working-age population (0-14 years) numbered 66.05 million (24.5%), and the population beyond working age (over 65 years) was 18.06 million (6.7%). Therefore, Indonesia's dependency ratio is 45%. This means Indonesia is still in a demographic bonus period where the working-age population is larger than the non-working-age population.
