The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 296 districts/cities with complete vaccination coverage above the national average, currently recorded at 66.46 percent as of Thursday, September 1, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 128.8 percent are Yogyakarta City (196.13 percent), Central Jakarta City (184.6 percent), Denpasar City (141.2 percent), South Jakarta City (139.11 percent), and Magelang City (128.8 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily increase in complete vaccination rates compared to previous days was recorded in 357 districts/cities, while one district/city recorded a lower complete vaccination rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City (141.2 percent), Padang Panjang City (118.58 percent), and Badung Regency (111.85 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
