The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 3.99 percent. This average is up from last week's 3.78 percent, data as of Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR above 37.5 percent are Fakfak, Majene, Southwest Maluku, Gorontalo, and East Manggarai, with values of 100 percent, 62.5 percent, 59.52 percent, 38.1 percent, and 37.5 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 66 regencies/cities, while 77 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Majene, and Southwest Maluku, with BORs of 100 percent, 62.5 percent, and 59.52 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
