The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 3.97 percent. This average is up from last week's 3.92 percent (data as of Sunday, October 9, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 35.71 percent are Fakfak, Gorontalo, Majene, East Manggarai, and Tasikmalaya, with values of 100 percent, 66.67 percent, 58.93 percent, 37.5 percent, and 35.71 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR of most regencies/cities outside Java. 79 regencies/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than before, while 59 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Gorontalo, and Majene, with BORs of 100 percent, 66.67 percent, and 58.93 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
