The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 219 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 13.19 percent (data as of Tuesday, November 8, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 57.86 percent are Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (71.43 percent), Halmahera Utara (63.64 percent), Toli Toli (63.41 percent), Raja Ampat (62.5 percent), and Sumba Timur (57.86 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 182 districts/cities, while 129 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (71.43 percent), Halmahera Utara (63.64 percent), and Toli Toli (63.41 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
