The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 4.94 percent. This average is higher than last week's 4.22 percent, based on data from Monday, October 24, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 45.45 percent are Fakfak, Majene, East Belitung, Takalar, and Gorontalo, with values of 100 percent, 82.14 percent, 57.14 percent, 46.75 percent, and 45.45 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside of Java. An increase in daily BOR compared to the previous day was recorded in 84 regencies/cities, while 68 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Majene, and East Belitung, with BORs of 100 percent, 82.14 percent, and 57.14 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
