The top five districts/cities with a Covid-19 death rate exceeding 0.29 per 100,000 population per week are Pulang Pisau (0.78 per 100,000 population per week), Bangli (0.43 per 100,000 population per week), Jembrana (0.35 per 100,000 population per week), Cirebon City (0.31 per 100,000 population per week), and Pangkajene Kepulauan (0.29 per 100,000 population per week).
National Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in Covid-19 deaths in most districts/cities outside Java. Zero districts/cities recorded a higher daily Covid-19 death rate than previously, and one district/city recorded a lower Covid-19 death rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest Covid-19 death rates include Pulang Pisau (0.78 per 100,000 population per week), Bangli (0.43 per 100,000 population per week), and Jembrana (0.35 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
