Mamuju's air quality was the cleanest in Indonesia last night. According to the air quality index from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Mamuju scored 30 on Friday, September 29th, 2023, at 7:00 PM WIB.
At that time, Mamuju's air quality was categorized as "good," meaning the level of pollutants in the air was very minimal. Gorontalo was second with an air quality index of 31, followed by Kendari in third place with an index of 42.

While the air quality in these cities was among the cleanest in Indonesia, not all cities had good air quality.
Based on the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 14 of 2020 concerning the Air Pollutant Standard Index, the KLHK classifies the air quality index as follows:
* 0-50: Good
* 51-100: Moderate
* 101-200: Unhealthy
* 201-300: Very Unhealthy
* 300+: Hazardous
This means that on Friday, September 29th, 2023, at 7:00 PM WIB, cities with good air quality were Mamuju, Gorontalo, Kendari, Banda Aceh, Malang, Balikpapan, and Denpasar. The other three cities, Ternate, Manado, and Serang, had moderate air quality.
