The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 314 regencies/cities have complete vaccination coverage based on ID cards above the national average, which is currently recorded at 65.78 percent (data as of Sunday, August 28, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 96.04 percent are Samosir (112.89 percent), Yogyakarta City (97.21 percent), Surakarta City (96.72 percent), Tabanan (96.1 percent), and Humbang Hasundutan (96.04 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most regencies/cities outside Java. An increase in daily complete vaccination rates compared to previous days was recorded in 303 regencies/cities.
Areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Samosir (112.89 percent), Tabanan (96.1 percent), and Humbang Hasundutan (96.04 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
