The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 316 regencies/cities have complete vaccination coverage based on ID cards above the national average, which is currently recorded at 66.1 percent (data as of Sunday, October 23, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 96 percent are Samosir, Yogyakarta City, Surakarta City, Tabanan, and Humbang Hasundutan, with respective values of 113.03 percent, 97.36 percent, 96.83 percent, 96 percent, and 96 percent.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination rates in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily complete vaccination rate higher than before was recorded in 357 regencies/cities.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Samosir, Tabanan, and Humbang Hasundutan, with complete vaccination rates of 113.03 percent, 96 percent, and 96 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
