Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National Tracing Rates (Sunday, February 12, 2023)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that there are 24 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 0.68 percent as of Sunday, February 12, 2023.

The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 22 percent are West Lombok (45 percent), Sidoarjo (24 percent), Surabaya City (24 percent), Gresik (24 percent), and Kendal (22 percent).

A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. No districts/cities recorded higher daily tracing figures than before.

Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include West Lombok (45 percent), Balikpapan City (15 percent), and Palembang City (10 percent).

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
