The average expenditure of people in Solok Selatan Regency for purchasing fish in 2023 was Rp14,840 per capita per week. This figure is higher compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp13,460 per capita per week.

The five largest expenditures by residents in Solok Selatan Regency for fish, in descending order, were: skipjack tuna (Rp2,723.56 per capita per week), preserved anchovies (Rp2,116.07 per capita per week), carp (Rp1,877.75 per capita per week), gourami (Rp1,794.44 per capita per week), and the lowest expenditure was for preserved ang and other aquatic animals (Rp2.46 per capita per week).
