Colombo Regency residents spend Rp2,822.37 per capita per week on other food items.

The average expenditure of residents in Kolaka Regency for purchasing other food items in 2023 was Rp2,822.37 per capita per week. This figure is higher than the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp2,254.69 per capita per week.

The four largest expenditure items for the "other food items" category in Kolaka Regency, in descending order, were instant noodles at Rp2,537.98 per capita per week, crackers at Rp219.47 per capita per week, baby porridge at Rp42.55 per capita per week, and other items at Rp22.38 per capita per week (the lowest).

Per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, divided by the number of household members. This expenditure can be categorized into two parts: food and non-food needs.

Expenditure on food consumption is calculated weekly, while non-food expenditure is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Both food and non-food consumption are then converted into average monthly expenditure. The average per capita consumption/expenditure figures presented in BPS publications are obtained by dividing the total consumption of all households (both consuming food and not) by the total population.

Based on region, the highest resident expenditure on purchasing other food items was in Puncak Jaya Regency, and the lowest was in Yapen Waropen Regency. Kolaka Regency ranked 253rd in terms of expenditure on other food items. Meanwhile, the national average per capita expenditure on purchasing other food items is Rp257.5 per capita per week.
