The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 147 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 1.07 percent (data as of Monday, July 11, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 8.69 percent are Magelang City, Tangerang City, West Jakarta City, Bogor City, and Bekasi City, with values of 12.35 percent, 8.69 percent, 8.69 percent, 8.69 percent, and 8.69 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java. Seventy districts/cities recorded a higher seven-day positivity rate than the previous day, while 69 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Gunung Mas, Barito Timur, and East Sumba, with seven-day positivity rates of 6.98 percent, 6.98 percent, and 5.82 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
