The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 8.99 percent. This average is up from last week's 8.12 percent, data as of Saturday, November 19, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 49.19 percent, are Fakfak, Kutai Barat, Tana Tidung, Tabalong, and Batang, with values of 100 percent, 57.38 percent, 57.14 percent, 50.51 percent, and 49.19 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside of Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 89 regencies/cities, while 79 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Kutai Barat, and Tana Tidung, with BORs of 100 percent, 57.38 percent, and 57.14 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
