Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National COVID-19 Vaccination Completion Rates (Wednesday, October 12, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 297 regencies/cities with complete vaccination coverage above the national average, currently recorded at 66.63 percent as of Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 128.82 percent are Yogyakarta City, Central Jakarta City, Denpasar City, South Jakarta City, and Magelang City, with respective values of 196.05 percent, 184.68 percent, 140.69 percent, 139.31 percent, and 128.82 percent.

A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most regencies/cities outside Java. Daily complete vaccination rates higher than previous days were recorded in 257 regencies/cities, while one regency/city recorded lower complete vaccination coverage.

Areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City, Padang Panjang City, and Badung Regency, with complete vaccination rates of 140.69 percent, 118.61 percent, and 111.68 percent, respectively.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
