The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 296 regencies/cities with complete vaccination coverage above the national average, currently recorded at 66.57 percent as of Monday, October 3, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 128.81 percent are Yogyakarta City, Central Jakarta City, Denpasar City, South Jakarta City, and Magelang City, with values of 196.03 percent, 184.62 percent, 140.67 percent, 139.25 percent, and 128.81 percent, respectively.
A national Covid data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that complete vaccination in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily complete vaccination rates higher than the previous day were recorded in 0 regencies/cities, while 395 regencies/cities recorded lower complete vaccination rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City, Padang Panjang City, and Badung Regency, with complete vaccination rates of 140.67 percent, 118.6 percent, and 111.65 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
