The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 3.84 percent. This average is down from last week's 3.95 percent, based on data from Monday, October 10, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 30.5 percent are Fakfak, Gorontalo, Majene, Manggarai Timur, and Murung Raya, with values of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, 55.36 percent, 37.5 percent, and 30.5 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. 71 regencies/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than before, while 76 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Gorontalo, and Majene, with BORs of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, and 55.36 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
