The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 125 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 3.14 percent as of Monday, November 7, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20.5 percent are Sumenep (31 percent), Metro City (29 percent), West Lombok (24.19 percent), Tasikmalaya (21.78 percent), and Balikpapan City (20.5 percent).
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. A higher-than-previous daily tracing rate was recorded in 36 regencies/cities, while 29 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City (29 percent), West Lombok (24.19 percent), and Balikpapan City (20.5 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
