The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 29 regencies/cities with weekly hospital inpatient use above the national average, currently recorded at 0.44 patients per 100,000 population/week (data as of Saturday, March 18, 2023).

National Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that inpatient use in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Higher than usual daily inpatient use was recorded in two regencies/cities, while two others recorded lower inpatient use.
Areas outside Java with the highest inpatient use include Teluk Bintuni, Pangkal Pinang City, and Pontianak City, with inpatient use rates of 1.42, 0.92, and 0.89 patients per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
