The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 9.2 percent. This is an increase compared to last week's 8.8 percent, based on data from Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 50.38 percent are Fakfak, Batang, East Sumba, Muna, and Payakumbuh City, with values of 100 percent, 54.88 percent, 53.25 percent, 51.79 percent, and 50.38 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 93 regencies/cities, while 73 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, East Sumba, and Muna, with BORs of 100 percent, 53.25 percent, and 51.79 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
