The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 124 districts/cities with a weekly Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above the national average, currently recorded at 1.43 percent (data as of Thursday, July 14, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 13.6 percent, are Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent), Payakumbuh City (26.98 percent), Balangan (23.08 percent), North Halmahera (17.99 percent), and Banjar (13.6 percent).
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most districts/cities outside Java. Sixty districts/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than before, while 32 districts/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent), Payakumbuh City (26.98 percent), and Balangan (23.08 percent).
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
