The average expenditure of people in Samosir Regency to buy crackers in 2023 was Rp251.99 per capita per week. This figure surged compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp152.66 per capita per week.

The four largest expenditures of residents for other food groups in Samosir Regency, from highest to lowest, were spent on instant noodles (Rp1,728.42 per capita per week), crackers (Rp251.99 per capita per week), other food items (Rp38.74 per capita per week), and the lowest on baby porridge (Rp24.64 per capita per week).

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, including purchases, gifts, and self-produced goods, divided by the number of household members. Household consumption is categorized into food and non-food consumption, regardless of the origin of goods, and is limited to household needs only, excluding consumption/expenditure for business purposes or given to others.
