Average Length of Schooling in Wonosobo Still Below National Average

The average length of schooling (ALS) for residents aged 25 and above in Wonosobo, Central Java, was 6.91 years in 2025.

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the ALS for residents in the region was below the Central Java provincial average of 8.15 years in 2025.

Wonosobo's ALS increased by 0.01 years (0.14%) compared to the previous year, which was 6.9 years. Meanwhile, in the last five years, the ALS rose by 0.1 years (1.47%).

This ALS indicates that the average resident of Wonosobo only attended school up to the 6th grade of elementary school. However, this ALS is still below the national average ALS of 9.07 years in 2025.
