The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 54 regencies/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 1.23 percent as of Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20 percent are Mataram City (34 percent), Metro City (25 percent), Malang City (23 percent), West Lombok (20.33 percent), and Ciamis Regency (20 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily increase in tracing was recorded in six regencies/cities, while 15 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Mataram City (34 percent), Metro City (25 percent), and West Lombok (20.33 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
