The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 197 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 5.95 percent (data as of Saturday, December 10, 2022).
The five districts/cities with the highest seven-day positivity rates, exceeding 36.36 percent, are Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (50 percent), Konawe Kepulauan (50 percent), Malinau (41.67 percent), Sumba Tengah (38.1 percent), and Parigi Moutong (36.36 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. However, 137 districts/cities recorded a higher seven-day positivity rate than the previous period, while 158 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (50 percent), Konawe Kepulauan (50 percent), and Malinau (41.67 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
