According to a Momentum Works report, the Chinese ice cream and beverage company Mixue had 21,582 franchise outlets spread across various countries in 2021.
This number makes Mixue the fifth-largest food and beverage (F&B) company globally in terms of franchise outlets.
The number of Mixue outlets even surpasses those of Burger King and Domino's Pizza. These US-based F&B companies had 19,247 and 18,848 outlets respectively last year.

Mixue has recently drawn significant attention online due to the rapid proliferation of its outlets in Indonesia. The company, owned by Zhang Hongchaio, first appeared in Indonesia in 2020 at Cihampelas Walk, Bandung.
The number of outlets has since grown to 300, spread across various Indonesian regions, ranging from malls and traditional markets to street corners.
The Mixue franchise holder in Indonesia is PT Zisheng Pacific Trading. Besides China and Indonesia, Mixue outlets are also found in Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia.
