According to a report from the Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force, as of November 14, 2022, there were 49,960 active Covid-19 cases throughout Indonesia.
This number represents a 185.97% increase, or nearly a threefold rise, compared to the previous month.
The highest number of active Covid-19 cases was in DKI Jakarta, with 17,902 cases, or 35.83% of the national total active cases on November 14, 2022.
West Java ranked second with 10,993 active Covid-19 cases, followed by Banten with 3,968 cases, Central Java with 3,592 cases, and East Java with 2,296 cases.

4. Central Java: 3,592 cases

6. Yogyakarta Special Region: 1,823 cases
7. Bali: 1,337 cases
8. East Kalimantan: 1,192 cases
9. South Sulawesi: 873 cases
10. North Sumatra: 698 cases
Overall, from the beginning of the pandemic until November 14, 2022, approximately 6.56 million people in Indonesia have been infected with Covid-19. 2.42% of these cases resulted in death, and 96.81% recovered.
Amidst this situation, the public is urged to remain vigilant and adhere to health protocols, such as wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and washing hands. The public is also encouraged to receive booster vaccinations to reduce the severity of infection and the risk of death from Covid-19.
