The total number of positive Covid-19 cases in Indonesia reached 6,048,685 as of May 9, 2022. 2.58% of these cases resulted in death, and 97.31% have recovered.
Although active Covid-19 cases in the country are decreasing, the public should remain vigilant. The coronavirus has the potential to spread more easily in the post-Lebaran period, as is currently the case.
Therefore, health protocols must continue to be implemented to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, including wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap. Furthermore, the public is urged to receive booster vaccinations to strengthen immunity and reduce the severity of infection.
